“ I really like this place. I only order the catfish and gumbo grits when i go, and that is GOOD!! The lemon drop flight and margarita flights are very good. The atmosphere and vibe is off the chain!! I’ve been on slow days and days when the DJs are there. Only negative i have is that it’s small. I love a good black vibe!!! ”

“ We went on a Friday around lunch time, so I was worried there would be a wait, but we sat right down. There were a good amount of people in there, but service was fast. I got the chicken and waffles, which came with a banana pudding waffle and 5 drums/flats. I wasnt sure about this either since it’s a more unique spin on chicken and waffles, but it was good! Chicken was well flavored and the right amount, and the banana pudding sauce was great - all the flavors went together well. My mother got the salmon croquettes and they were really good too, would get them again. We got the Cajun shrimp deviled eggs for an appetizer. Those were battered and fried - very good, but I prefer my deviled eggs cold. The shrimp was a good size and flavor good, so I’m sure most people love them. Service was great - they were quick and attentive, several times making sure we were enjoying and had everything. Food came out quickly. There was a DJ, who was playing great music, but it was too loud for my mid 30s ears. Definitely gave boozy brunch vibes, so if looking for a little turn up brunch this might be it. I’m not sure when DJ is usually there, but I’ll probably avoid it so that I can actually have a conversation with a friend. Overall, I would definitely return. Prices seemed high, but you get better quality and service than with another similar breakfast spot not too far further south. Drink prices were reasonable so I’d say probably worth it overall. I definitely enjoyed my meal! ”
“ Finally went and was not disappointed. The service was great, everybody's food was delicious and hot and the vibe was nice. We went early so unfortunately the dj was coming in as we were leaving. Will definitely return the next time I'm in town. ”
